TUM Asia Specialization Additive Manufacturing

This week's exams mark the end of the first round of the "Additive Manufacturing" specialization at TUM Asia in the chemical engineering Bachelor's program. The students took four modules about various topics around 3D printing.

The students took modules on the fundamentals of polymers and polymer technology designed by the Chair of Medical Materials and Implants (Prof. Mela). Together with the Chair of Materials Engineering of Additive Manufacturing (Prof. Mayr), teaching was then given on the topics of materials and failure analysis and additive manufacturing. The theoretical lectures were supported by guest lectures and excursions.
