Türen auf mit der Maus: 3D printing with TUM.Additive
In our workshop, the children were given a brief introduction to additive manufacturing. And then we got started: choosing the bookmark and color, slicing together, changing the filament and starting the print. The printers are all different speeds, but you always have to wait a little. So while the individual bookmarks were being 3D printed, we went into the hall to the large plastic and metal machines - to find out what we deal with in research. A few example metal parts illustrate this best. After puzzling together the mouse and elephant, our own piece was ready to take home.
