26. Seminar für Additive Fertigung 2023

On July 18, the 26th Additive Manufacturing Seminar with presentations from science and industry will take place at the Augsburg Innovation Park. In addition to interactive panel discussions, there will be plenty of time for personal exchange in the evening.

Manuel Henser from Volkmann GmbH will talk about the correct handling of metal powder when 3D printing metal parts in the session Qualification and certification of AI-supported AM processes - An important aspect in the context of industrialization and digitization of additive manufacturing. Andreas Rohnfelder will speak on the topic of Quantum Computing - The secret of getting ahead is getting started. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael F. Zäh will talk about Artificial Intelligence in Additive Manufacturing. Lukas Angermüller from MTU Aero Engines. In the session "AI-supported process control", he will give a presentation on the possibilities for homogenizing the microstructure in IN718 components using AI and online monitoring.
