Recap of Formnext 2023

Four days of intensive additive manufacturing are already over. There was a lot to see at the world's largest trade fair for 3D printing. At the TUM.Additive stand (joint stand Bayern Innovativ), various TUM chairs and professorships presented their latest research demonstrators.

At the beginning of November 2023, various chairs and professorships presented their research results in the field of additive manufacturing at the world's largest trade fair for 3D printing - Formnext. Also present from TUM were the TUM-Oerlikon Advanced Manufacturing Institute and the TUM Venture Lab Additive Manufacturing with the start-up team LEAM.

Professor Katrin Wudy from the Chair of Laser-based Additive Manufacturing moderated the Metal AM Forum on the topic of "Leveraging Laser Beam Shaping". Claudia Geitner from the Chair of Materials Technology of Additive Manufacturing officially announced the cooperation on the topic of Electron Beam Melting at a press conference together with the company Jeol.
