Multiplier Meeting Additive Manufacturing of Bayern Innovativ
At this meeting, organized by Bayern Innovativ, participants updated each other on developments and activities of their company or institution. The workshop by Sascha Schwarz (TUM Venture Lab Additive Manufacturing) and Christina Kwade (TUM.Additive) focused primarily on the question of which applications the use of additive manufacturing actually makes sense for and what criteria can be used to decide in favor of additive manufacturing. This also led to the question of where development is still necessary and where, however, development potential is already seen. Afterwards, Prof. Katrin Wudy gave a guided tour through the laboratories of the Professorship for Laser-based Additive Manufacturing in the new TUM Oerlikon Advanced Manufacturing Institute.
