JEOL's first Electron Beam Melting machine in Europe

Last week, a significant milestone was achieved in additive manufacturing as JEOL's first Electron Beam Melting machine in Europe was proudly inaugurated right here at the Technical University of Munich! The event was filled with insightful presentations from industry leaders including Tekna, JEOL Ltd., FIT Additive Manufacturing Group, and MT Aerospace AG, offering a glimpse into the future of manufacturing.

Professor Michael Zäh (Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Managment) and Professor Peter Mayr (Chair of Materials Engineering of Additive Manufacturing) were hosting this event at the Advanced Manufacturing Campus. After the industry keynotes and exchange and discussion, everyone was eager to take a look at the newly installed machine.
