EinDruck³ 2024

Exactly one week ago, we had an exciting day at EinDruck³ - an additive manufacturing forum organized by Bayern Innovativ GmbH (Koordinierungsstelle Additive Fertigung)! We spent a whole day in Fürth discussing the latest news from the world of 3D printing.

This year's theme was: Paths to digital and sustainable production. In various workshops and keynotes, we learned a lot about digitalization, sustainability in additive manufacturing and new materials. The first presentation was given by Rolf Bücke with the title "The future of production - from smart data analytics to data-driven manufacturing". Dr. Nicholas Deliyanakis from the European Commission opened the afternoon with the presentation: No future without sustainability - the role of industrial innovation. Other topics included the combination of additive manufacturing and quantum technology, which we examined in a workshop by Matthias Kieser (Anaqor). Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dietmar Drummer led an interactive session on: Sustainable Product Lifecycles of Additive Manufacturing - A Holistic Perspective on Industries, Applications, Processes and Materials.

Two of our start-up teams had the opportunity to present their work. Maximilian Strasser (micro factory) spoke about the automation of SLA and Patrick Consul from LEAM Technologies GmbH gave insights into Light Enabled Additive Manufacturing.
