For the third time, over 40 PhD students of four different schools and eight different departments of Technische Universität München came together to hear about various topics in the field of additive manufacturing. The interdisciplinary pitches covered multi-scale simulation, modeling across scales, mechanical recycling, microfluidic droplet templated cultures, and copper-tungsten composites.
As a start-up, FIDENTIS introduced us to their multi-material additive manufacturing process for a dental application.
After the talks, there was a laboratory tour and food and drinks to discuss the recent research in more detail. Altogether, we have learned a lot about other areas! Thanks to all participants!
