Wrap up on AMeetUp #4

On September 20th 2023 the already fourth AMeetUp took place at the Munich Urban Colab! There were some exciting presentations on the topics of laser powder bed fusion and simulation of this process, industrialization of additive manufacturing and temperature control in AM processes.

This time, the key notes at AMeetUp were given by Alper Evirgen from Oerlikon AM and Markus Obermeier from Siemens. Their presentations focused on materials in laser powder bed fusion and the industrialization of additive manufacturing. From the start-up side, Ahmed Dagani from Go Additive and Patrick Consul from LEAM pitched their ideas. Dominik Götz from the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management at TUM presented his latest findings on the simulation of the Powder Bed Fusion process with metals.
