At the joint booth of Bayern Innovativ, we presented two exciting projects:
- Future Sustainable Car Materials (FSCM) – a project that investigates new materials for sustainable mobility at the Chair of Materials Handling, Material Flow, Logistics, the Chair of Circular Economy, and the Chair of Materials Engineering of Additive Manufacturing.
- Mycelium-Bound Composites as an Example of Natural Cycles in the Bio-Economy – this project explores bio-based material solutions with fungal biotechnology at the Professorship of Fungal Biotechnology in Wood Science.
In addition, we showcased many other exciting projects, workshops, and training offers from our members!
A special highlight at our booth was the visit of State Minister Aiwanger, who visited the Bayern Pavilion and our booth.
Since the implementation of the Circular Economy is still in its early stages, many companies sought our advice and expertise, while also providing impulses for further research. Here, we were able to establish many helpful contacts for both sides as a network. The most discussed topics at the Hannover Fair included hydrogen technology, recycling and dismantling of batteries and electronics, sustainable materials, AI, and the digital product passport.
We were inspired and hope that we could also inspire all visitors, including industry professionals, students, and other interested parties. We look forward to deepening the valuable contacts we made during the event!
