Teaching
Implementing the Circular Economy (CE) requires holistic solutions that go beyond disciplinary boundaries. The CirculaTUM network is committed to strengthen the interdisciplinary approach and expertise in CE in teaching.
Our goal is to equip students with a broad range of sustainability-related skills and to enable them to think systemically.
This is achieved through project weeks, plug-in modules, or microcredentials. Additionally, specializations for doctoral students are developed in collaboration with university partners from the EuroTech network and other leading international universities. By closely integrating research and teaching activities with UnternehmerTUM and the TUM Venture Lab Sustainability and Circular, and through intensive collaboration with partners from industry and society, we ensure that scientific findings are developed close to practical needs and that solutions have a scalable impact.
In the area of Lifelong Learning for TUM employees and leaders from industry and society, the topics of the CE are also integrated, for example, through the certificate program Sustainable Management and Technology.
Would you like to integrate the topic of CE into your courses, or contribute to our current courses or their further development? Then feel free to contact us. Become part of our network and benefit from the exchange with other educators committed to the CE. We look forward to your ideas and suggestions!
